Consultation
We walk the property, look at your wiring and DB, and ask how you actually live in the space.

DuneNest designs, installs and looks after smart home systems — lighting, climate, security, shading and audio, all running as one. No app-juggling, no half-finished setups.
What you'll actually control
Most homes end up with five apps that don't talk to each other. We design around a single control layer, so a scene like "Evening" moves everything at once — and every device still works if the internet drops.
Dimmable circuits, colour temperature that shifts through the day, and scenes on the wall switch — not only in an app. Guests should be able to use your house.
Per-room targets instead of one thermostat fighting the whole villa. Cooling backs off when a room is empty and pre-cools before you get home.
Cameras, smart locks, door and window contacts and a video doorbell, reporting to one place. Recorded locally by default, with cloud backup only if you want it.
Cameras that tell a person from a parcel from a cat, and a house that reacts accordingly — porch light and unlock for someone you know, a clip on your phone for someone you don't, and silence for the neighbour's cat at 2am. Classification runs on a box in your home, not on someone's server.
Motorised curtains and blinds tied to sun position — which matters more here than almost anywhere — plus multi-room audio that follows you between rooms.
How a project runs
No open-ended invoices. We survey, we quote a fixed figure, and that figure is what you pay unless you ask us to change the scope.

Packages
These aren't good / better / best. They're four different jobs a smart home can do. Most clients start with one and add another later — the system is built so that's cheap to do.
Scopes shown are for a typical 2-bedroom apartment, supplied and installed. Villas, larger homes and buildings are scoped on site. Every package is quoted as one fixed figure after a free survey.
The starting point. Your lighting and AC stop being separate chores.
For anyone who travels, rents out, or just wants to see the front door.
The one people notice. Light, shade and sound tuned to the room and the hour.
Every system on one controller for a villa, or a building-wide deployment for a landlord or facilities team — energy metering, access control, common-area automation and per-unit reporting. Scoped and priced after a site survey, because guessing here helps nobody.
After handover
A smart home is software, and software drifts. Firmware updates, a replaced router, a new TV, a child who now needs their own scene. Every DuneNest install includes two years of workmanship warranty. The care plan covers everything that comes after that.

Before you ask
Usually not. Most of what we install is retrofit — smart modules that sit behind your existing switches, wireless sensors, and battery or plug-in devices. We'll tell you at the survey if anything genuinely needs new cabling, and it goes in the quote before you commit.
Your switches, locks and thermostats keep working. We keep automations running on a local controller in your home, so the internet is only needed for remote access and voice assistants. This is a design choice and we won't build it any other way.
On a small dedicated box inside your home. Faces, pets, parcels and vehicles are classified locally, and the footage stays on your recorder — we don't upload video to a third party to make the features work. Nothing leaves the house unless you turn on remote viewing, and you can exclude any camera or room from recognition entirely.
No. We hand over full admin access, documentation and a device schedule at the end of every project. The system is yours and any competent integrator can work on it. The care plan is optional and cancellable monthly.
We're platform-neutral and spec around what suits the property and your budget, favouring Matter-compatible hardware so nothing traps you. If you've already bought devices, bring the list to the consultation — we'll usually build around them rather than replacing them.
Cairo and Greater Cairo for installation and on-site support — New Cairo, Sheikh Zayed, 6th of October, Maadi, Heliopolis and Zamalek. We take remote design and consulting work beyond that — get in touch and tell us where you are.
An apartment package is typically one to three days on site. A full villa runs one to two weeks depending on shading and audio scope. You'll get a date range in the quote, and we work around you rather than moving you out.
